Halfway thru 2006, folks.... WTF?

My 31st birthday slinks and slouches, waiting to pounce, shove its claws down my cranky old man throat. It's been 13 years since I graduated high school. 12 years since I left Ohio. Roughly a minute and 30 seconds since a 3-inch cockroach ran over my bare foot, causing me to slam my knee upwards into the bottom of the desk thereby generating great pain as well as unleashing a vast torrent of profanity directed against desk, knees and large cockroaches.
It's almost happy birthday for me.
