My friend Daniel tells me this & I listen. My game has been off recently, too distracted, too thrown off by the craziness & commotion. I have forgotten to focus on what's in front of me: That obscure but perfect angle, that exact point of learned violence where it all comes together, where all the loose ends combine, the physics are applied accurately & what it is that you want has no choice but to happen.... I just have to keep trying to win even if i keep losing. My hands are steady, young & not-too-stupid. My luck, if there is such, is bound to change.
